What is BioThane® Footballgrip?
Before we explain exactly what makes our BioThane® Football Grip so special, let's first clarify: What is BioThane®?
BioThane® is a US-patented material from the company of the same name. It is a leather-like polyester fabric consisting of a robust polyester core with a durable PU coating. It stands for:

How do I use a Biothane tracking leash with a hand strap?
Our BioThane® Footballgrip tracking leashes are now also available with a hand strap! But how do you use a BioThane® leash with a hand strap correctly?
Drag lines with hand straps should never actually be dragged or pulled by the dog! The hand strap increases the risk of the leash getting caught and possibly injuring your dog, especially when you and your dog are out walking in the woods, for example.
Instead, you should view and use a drag line with a hand strap as an extra-long leash. This type of leash allows you to limit your dog to a certain radius around you and, especially with young dogs, to always maintain control. A leash with a hand strap can also give you additional control and a secure grip for various dog sports or general training.
