The chain collars made of only 4mm thick stainless steel are much more durable, safer and easier to clean than conventional collars made of nylon or leather. In addition, they look absolutely awesome on every fur length.

For the quality stainless steel black, a galvanic process is used to blacken the surface of the material, then polished. Since it’s not a permanent coating, an attractive antique finish will result from friction during use.
We therefore recommend that dogs with very light or white coats use a chain made of Curogan to reduce the risk of coat discoloration.

How do I care for stainless steel (black)?

Black stainless steel dog collars are best cleaned with a mild detergent or soap and a little water. Please do not use metal polishes such as Diamond Paste on our black chain collars, as this will damage the black coating.
