How do I maintain chrome-plated steel?
We recommend using clear water to clean chrome-plated steel dog collars. If they are very dirty, you can also clean them with a mild washing-up liquid. The chain should always be dried thoroughly if it comes into contact with moisture and after cleaning. Also check your chain regularly for wear and functionality.Chrome-plated steel

If you are looking for an entry-level dog necklace, chrome-plated steel is the perfect match. Chrome-plated steel chains are more suitable as decorative chains than for professional training use. They look very classy, but have a lower breaking load compared to stainless steel chains. To prevent rust, all our SPRENGER chains made of chrome-plated steel are provided with temporary rust protection made of nickel and chrome. The material can still rust if the surface is damaged.
