Choose length according to neck circumference

For our sizes, the total length of the necklace or collar is always specified. of the necklace is always indicated.

To determine the optimal length, please place a measuring tape so that it lies against the fur and can be moved easily. Please add 1-2 cm to the measured neck circumference so that the collar fits perfectly. Then choose the right length based on the neck circumference.

Our tip:
If you don't have a tape measure to hand, use a piece of string, which you can then measure with a folding rule.

How do I maintain chrome-plated steel?

We recommend using clear water to clean chrome-plated steel dog collars. If they are very dirty, you can also clean them with a mild washing-up liquid. The chain should always be dried thoroughly if it comes into contact with moisture and after cleaning. Also check your chain regularly for wear and functionality.

Chrome-plated steel

If you are looking for an entry-level dog necklace, chrome-plated steel is the perfect match. Chrome-plated steel chains are more suitable as decorative chains than for professional training use. They look very classy, but have a lower breaking load compared to stainless steel chains. To prevent rust, all our SPRENGER chains made of chrome-plated steel are provided with temporary rust protection made of nickel and chrome. The material can still rust if the surface is damaged. So if your dog is a water rat, stainless steel chains are more suitable.
